In 1976 when I arrived home with my latest prized possession, a lovely Victorian chair, my late husband said to me “If you buy another chair, you are going to have to open an antique shop”. I thought ‘what a great idea’ and later that year Discovery Corner Antiques was born.
Thirty one years and a few thousand chairs later I, Jill Phillips along with my son, David Phillips and our competent staff are proud of the good reputation our family business has established. We provide personalised service with rarity, quality, age and condition being of prime importance. We always have a wide variety of furniture, porcelain, silver and statuary.
Local deliveries are always free and we are happy to organise overseas, country or interstate deliveries. Our stock is constantly changing, but if we don’t have the particular item you are looking for just leave your contact details as we have achieved great results sourcing items for our clients. A written valuation for insurance is included in the purchase price and we can arrange flexible lay-by terms. We also offer furniture repair and restoration services.
